The Many Faces of Botox: Cosmetic and Medical Uses

Step into the innovative world of medical aesthetics, where creative uses for Botox are constantly emerging. Botulinum toxin’s cosmetic use is no longer limited to smoothing fine lines and forehead wrinkles. Nowadays, Botox is replacing and delaying the need for surgical enhancements by treating unique concerns such as hooded eyes, bulky trap muscles, and jawline slimming.

Thanks to the reduced risks, cost, and downtime of surgery, individuals are opting for tox injections to enhance facial features and correct imperfections. But the possibilities don’t stop there – this powerful toxin’s off-label uses have expanded into therapeutic uses for a variety of medical conditions, from urinary incontinence and TMJ to excessive sweating.

Curious to learn how Botox can help address unique cosmetic concerns and medical conditions? Keep reading as we uncover the surprising cosmetic and medical uses of Botox and how a few injections can enhance your beauty and boost your wellness in no time.

The Cosmetic Benefits of Botox

Botox is the ultimate wrinkle smoother. However, thanks to its versatility, creative uses for the tox continue to expand. Botox injections can be placed precisely to enhance certain features, allowing injectors to shape the face and body noninvasively. Keep reading as we dive into some of the most popular off-label uses for Botox.

Jawline Slimming

Sagging, droopy jowls are perhaps one of the most common signs of facial aging.
Aside from the natural aging process, genetics, lifestyle choices like sun exposure, dehydration, and diet can all contribute to the development of jowls. Regardless of how they come to form, both men and women are prone to developing jowls.

Fortunately, Botox is gaining popularity as an effective facial contouring method for individuals looking to prevent jowls and firm and sculpt their jawline. Jawline slimming, also known as masseter reduction, involves injecting Botox into the masseter muscles at the back of the jaw. This relaxes the masseter muscles and improves sagging skin. The result is a lifted, more sculpted jawline. Instant results, plus no downtime or scarring, make masseter Botox a highly desirable procedure if you are ready to say goodbye to your jowls or slim down a round or chubby face.

Eyebrow Lift

Botox brow lifts have been on the rise in the last few years, and rightfully so! Thanks to celebrities like Kendal Jenner and Bella Hadid, this temporary solution is skyrocketing in popularity among individuals wanting to achieve spacious lids or a more dramatic arch without the risks, downtime, or cost of surgery.

This non-invasive technique is a quick and convenient choice for individuals looking to improve hooded eyes, correct brow asymmetry, or lift low-lying brows. A Botox brow lift involves injecting the tox into the upper eyelid muscles responsible for pulling down the brows. This paralyzes the muscles and causes them to relax. By relaxing the upper eyelid muscles, you can achieve a more lifted, awake appearance without opting for more invasive methods such as surgery or threads.

Lip Flip

Another growing use for Botox is the lip flip. This temporary enhancement helps individuals achieve a plumper-looking upper lip using a small amount of Botox. Also known as a lip lift, this method is also a great solution for those wanting to improve a “gummy smile” or “horse smile.” Instead of injecting filler directly into the top and bottom lip, a lip flip strategically injects Botox into the muscles along the upper lip. This temporarily relaxes the muscles and causes the lip to lift and flip upwards naturally.

This technique does not add any volume to the lips. Instead, a lip flip creates the appearance of a fuller upper lip by revealing more surface area of the upper lip. A lip flip is a great technique to consider if you are on the fence about lip augmentation and want to try a more temporary solution. Results are also more subtle and natural-looking compared to lip filler injections.

Nose Slimming

It was only a matter of time before Botox expanded its use to other areas of the face – like the nose. You can skip the nose job and achieve a slim, sculpted nose using a few injections. A Botox non-surgical nose job is a safe and effective option for individuals wanting to enhance their nose shape or tweak small irregularities like flaring nostrils or a drooping nasal tip.

Nose slimming targets four different groups of muscles around the bridge of your nose. Botox injections help lift and define the tip, minimize nostril flare, smooth out bunny lines, and narrow the overall appearance of your nose. Botox nose slimming is a more convenient and affordable way to enhance your nose than a surgical nose job. It comes with way less risk, no downtime, and no scarring. A non-surgical nose job is also temporary, with results typically lasting up to 4 months. For many individuals, opting for a less permanent solution feels safer.

Traptox

Traptox is a newer Botox technique that has received much buzz lately thanks to the recent “Barbie” movie starring Margot Robbie. This trending “BarbieTox” treatment targets the trapezius muscles, making the neck appear longer and slimmer like our beloved Mattel doll.

Our trapezius muscles begin at the base of our skull down to our shoulders. For some people, these muscles can grow bulky and cause the neck to appear shorter or thicker. When you inject Botox in your traps, it creates a temporary weakening effect. This helps minimize muscle contractions and muscle size, creating a less bulky and more elongated appearance.

You can enjoy various non-cosmetic benefits too. Botox injections in the trap muscles can help alleviate neck and shoulder pain, muscle spasms, and even migraines. So, if you find yourself spending hours at your desk or looking at a computer screen, trap Botox may be a great option to consider.

Surprising Medical Uses of Botox

Thanks to its ability to temporarily paralyze muscles, this powerful toxin’s off-label uses have expanded into therapeutic uses for a variety of medical conditions. Botox has proven to be a valuable tool in the medical world, from treating chronic migraines to reducing excessive sweating. Let’s explore some surprising ways Botox is used to alleviate medical conditions.

Chronic Migraines

Why suffer in silence when a simple Botox treatment could make a world of difference in your quality of life? Botox for migraines works by blocking the pain neurotransmitters in the brain. This relaxes the muscles that contract and cramp which causes chronic migraines to occur. This procedure effectively reduces chronic migraines while preserving your natural appearance. With just a few injections, chronic migraines can be a thing of the past.

TMJ

For individuals who struggle with TMJ pain, teeth grinding, or jaw clenching issues, masseter Botox is a great solution to consider. Botox for TMJ targets the masseter muscles and temporarily weakens them. This weakening effect makes it difficult to clench your jaw or grind your teeth while you sleep. It also produces a face-slimming effect thanks to a reduction in muscle contractions. Say goodbye to jaw pain for up to six months with this quick and painless procedure.

Hyperhidrosis

If you sweat excessively in your underarms or palms, Botox can help! Hyperhidrosis and palmar hyperhidrosis are two common medical conditions that cause the sweat glands in your underarms or palms to produce too much sweat. Botox is a non-invasive way to reduce these symptoms and bring back your confidence. Botox effectively stops the sweat from overproducing for up to six months by injecting the palms or underarms.

Urinary Incontinence

Did you know that Botox can be a game-changer for men and women struggling with urinary incontinence or an overactive bladder? By injecting Botox directly into the bladder muscle, it can help relax and calm those overactive signals that lead to sudden urges and accidents. With just a few painless injections, bladder Botox can provide plenty of relief for individuals dealing with the embarrassment and inconvenience of bladder control issues.

Everything You Need to Know About Botox Nose Slimming

The Bunny Nose Botox Secret Revealed

In a world where beauty standards and self-confidence go hand in hand, it’s no wonder that nose augmentation and slimming treatments have become increasingly popular. Botox non-surgical nose jobs are the go-to facial rejuvenation treatments for anyone looking to enhance their profile without going under the knife. Yes, Botox injections can do more than just smooth out wrinkles – they can actually help slim and refine the size and shape of your nose! You can define your nose shape and correct bumps quickly and easily.

Are you ready to create a more symmetric appearance? If so, Botox nose slimming (also known as bunny nose Botox) may be the perfect solution for you. Keep reading to learn about the benefits and how you can achieve a beautiful nose shape with just a few injections.

What are Bunny Lines?

Bunny lines are small wrinkles visible on the sides of the nose. They appear when a person smiles or scrunches their face. Think of a bunny rabbit’s nose twitching. These dynamic lines appear when the muscles around the nose continuously help the face make dramatic facial expressions.

For some, bunny lines become more noticeable as a result of more frequent facial expressions, like smiling or frowning. As the skin gets thinner and loses its elasticity due to aging, repeating these muscle movements causes lines and wrinkles to become more prominent.

Additionally, these dynamic bunny lines can leave behind noticeable, static lines in the skin, even when the facial muscles are at rest. Thankfully, Botox is a great non-surgical way to help prevent and reduce the appearance of nose wrinkles and bunny lines.

How Providers Use Botox to Enhance the Nose

A Botox nose slimming treatment is an effective technique that helps create more definition to support a streamlined nose shape. This tox helps slim the nose by correcting a wide or flaring nose. Depending on your goals, the injections reduce and narrow the size of the nostrils or enhance the projection of the tip.

Whether you were born with a downturned nasal tip or developed one with age, you can address it with Botox. By weakening the muscles that pull down the tip of the nose, you create the appearance of more lift and definition to the tip, giving it more of a “button nose” look. Botox injections can also help smooth out bumps and irregularities on the bridge of the nose, giving the nose a more symmetrical and balanced appearance.

Benefits of Botox for the Nose

Botox is a type of toxin that blocks nerve signals in the muscles. When injected into the muscles around the nose, Botox can relax and weaken them, enhancing the overall appearance of the nose without the need for surgery.

Some of the most famous nose Botox benefits include:

  •  A slimmer, more slender nose
  •  Smoothing bumps and irregularities
  •  Reducing and narrowing nostril size
  •  A more symmetrical, balanced appearance
  •  A more contoured, defined nose tip
  •  Quick, painless treatment
  •  Non-invasive
  •  No anesthesia
  •  No downtime
  •  More affordable option than surgery

By targeting specific muscles, Botox can improve minor asymmetries and create more balance for your features.

Botox Nose Slimming Before and After

If you’re curious about your potential results, before and after images are a great way to get an idea.*

*As with any cosmetic enhancement, results may vary. Be sure to find a provider that you trust to help you reach your goals.

What To Expect at a Botox Nose Treatment

Every treatment is different since Botox has many uses beyond the traditional, from masseter to traps and, of course, the nose. But, as a general expectation for nose Botox, your provider assesses the area to determine the amount of injections necessary. Then, they clean the skin on and around your nose and mark the injection sites. Most patients do not require numbing prior to their treatment. However, different numbing methods are available to reduce discomfort. Numbing can be done with ice, topical cream, or vibrating.

Next, your provider will use a small needle to inject the Botox into the muscles that cause the bunny lines. The entire process takes about 10-15 minutes and is relatively painless. After the treatment, you may experience some temporary redness and swelling on and around the nose. It usually takes about 1-2 weeks to see the full effects of nose Botox. There is no downtime or recovery, and individuals can return to their regular routine.

Botox Nose Slimming Vs Surgical Nose Job

A Botox non-surgical nose job is an excellent alternative to a surgical nose job for numerous reasons. First, slimming the nose with Botox is less invasive, which means there is no cutting or downtime for recovery. With a non-surgical nose job, a doctor simply injects Botox or filler into the nose to reshape it, so there is minimal pain and swelling.

Second, a non-surgical nose job is less expensive than a surgical one. The cost is significantly lower since there is no need for anesthesia or an operating room. This makes it a more affordable option for those looking to change the appearance of their nose.

Lastly, a non-surgical nose job is temporary. Botox nose slimming results typically last for about 3 to 4 months, so if you are unhappy with the results, they will fade over time. This is a less permanent option in comparison to a surgical nose job. Undergoing surgery is much more difficult to reverse if you are not happy with the outcome.

How Long Does Botox Last in the Nose?

While impressive, Botox results are temporary. Typically, the effects of Botox injections last between three and four months. Over time, the treated muscles gradually regain their ability to contract. If you’re not happy with the change to your nose, it will wear off over time. So, if you’re looking to slim and refine your nose without going under the knife, Botox may be a promising option for you to consider.

If you love your results, regular maintenance treatments are recommended to sustain the nose transformation. This temporary nature allows for adjustments in treatment plans to ensure that patients achieve their desired aesthetic outcomes. If you’re considering Botox, planning for periodic touch-ups is essential to maintain the best results.

Risks of Using Botox for a Slimmer Nose

Using Botox to target bunny nose wrinkles and achieve a slimmer, more slender nose can be a safe and effective procedure when done by a skilled professional. The delicate nasal area requires precision and expertise to avoid complications.

Potential risks include:

  • Bruising and Swelling: Common and typically temporary, but can be noticeable in the days following treatment.
  • Asymmetry: Improper injection techniques may lead to uneven results, causing an imbalanced appearance.
  • Nasal Tip Ptosis: In rare cases, Botox can weaken the muscles that support the nasal tip, potentially causing it to droop.
  • Difficulty Breathing: If injected incorrectly, Botox may impact the muscles involved in nasal airflow, leading to temporary breathing issues.
  • Infection: Any injection carries a risk of infection, although this is minimized with proper sterilization and technique.
    Headache or Flu-like
  • Headache or Flu-like Symptoms: Some individuals may experience systemic effects such as headaches or flu-like symptoms following treatment.

Due to these risks, seeking treatment from a qualified and experienced professional is crucial. At KP Aesthetics, our specialists ensure precise application to minimize risks and achieve the best possible outcomes. If you have concerns about Botox for the nose, a thorough consultation with our experts will help determine if this treatment is suitable for you.

Trap Botox: The Facts About Botox For Trapezius Muscle

You’re not alone if you struggle to ease the knots of pain and tension in your upper back and neck. Trap muscle Botox targets the root cause of your discomfort, offering relief from stress, bad posture, or overuse.

Read along to learn more about what trap Botox is, its cost, benefits, and a lot more. Let’s dive in!

What Is Trap Botox?

Trap Botox is a simple but effective solution that injects botulinum toxin, or Botox, directly into your trapezius muscle. This muscle, which runs along your upper back and neck, often tightens up and causes pain due to every day strains like stress or poor posture.

Doctors can inject Botox into your trapezius muscle to stop the nerves from telling your muscles to contract too much. This helps your muscles relax and ease the tension, giving you relief from pain and helping you move more freely.

How Does Botox For Trapezius Work?

Botox for trapezius works by interrupting the messages sent by your nerves to your muscles, telling them to tighten up too much. This interruption causes a temporary pause in muscle activity, allowing your trapezius muscle to relax and your pain to decrease.

The procedure is simple. A trained healthcare provider uses a tiny needle to inject Botox into the trapezius muscle. Although you might feel a bit uncomfortable during the injection, the relief you’ll feel afterward makes it worth it.

After the injection, it might take a few days to start feeling the full effects of Trap Botox. But once it kicks in, you’ll likely notice a gradual decrease in pain and tension in your upper back and neck. while the results won’t last forever, they can provide relief for several months before you might need another injection.

Benefits of Trap Botox

Like masseter Botox for sagging jowls, which was taking over the internet, trap Botox offers several benefits for individuals dealing with muscle tightness and discomfort. Here are some of the key advantages of this treatment:

Pain Relief

Trap Botox effectively relieves pain by relaxing the trapezius muscle, which can alleviate discomfort caused by tension, stress, or overuse. By targeting the root cause of the pain, Botox for the trapezius muscle offers long-lasting relief without the need for invasive procedures or medication.

Improved Mobility

Tightness in the trapezius muscle can limit your range of motion and make everyday activities challenging. Trap Botox helps to improve mobility by reducing muscle tension, allowing you to move more freely and comfortably.

Non-Invasive

Unlike surgical interventions, Botox in trapezius muscle is a non-invasive treatment option that does not require incisions or extensive recovery time. The procedure involves simple injections into the trapezius muscle, making it a convenient and accessible solution for individuals seeking relief from muscle tightness.

Minimal Side Effects

All medical procedures carry some risk of side effects. However, trap Botox is generally well-tolerated with minimal adverse reactions. Common side effects may include temporary muscle weakness or injection site discomfort, which typically resolve on their own within a few days.

Cost-Effective

In comparison to surgical procedures or ongoing medication, Trap Botox can be a cost-effective option for managing trapezius muscle tightness. While individual Trap Botox costs may vary depending on factors such as the provider and location, it offers a potentially affordable solution for those seeking relief from muscle discomfort.

Quick Results

Many individuals experience noticeable improvements in pain and mobility shortly after receiving Trap Botox injections. While it may take several days for the full effects to be felt, the relatively quick onset of relief makes Botox for trapezius muscle an attractive option for those seeking immediate relief from tightness.

How To Prepare For Trap Botox?

Preparing for Trap Botox involves a few simple steps to ensure the procedure goes smoothly and maximizes effectiveness. Here’s what you can do to prepare:

Step 1- Consultation

The first step in preparing for Trap Botox is to schedule a consultation with a qualified healthcare provider. During this consultation, you’ll discuss your medical history, any medications you’re currently taking, and your goals for the treatment.

Step 2- Avoid Blood Thinners

In the days before your Trap Botox appointment, it’s essential to avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil. These substances can increase the risk of bruising at the injection site.

Step 3- Stay Hydrated

Proper hydration is important both before and after treatment. Drinking plenty of water before getting Botox for trapezius muscles can help ensure they are well-hydrated.

Step 4- Communicate With Your Provider

Don’t hesitate to communicate with your healthcare provider if you have any questions or concerns about Trap Botox or the preparation process. They can provide guidance and address any issues to ensure you feel comfortable and confident going into the procedure.

What To Expect During Botox For Trapezius?

Understanding what to expect during Trap Botox can help alleviate any anxiety and ensure a smooth and successful procedure. Here’s what typically happens during Botox for trapezius:

  • Preparation: Before the procedure begins, your healthcare provider will clean the injection site and apply a topical numbing cream to minimize any discomfort during the injections.
  • Injection Process: Your provider will inject small amounts of Botox directly into the trapezius muscle at strategic points using a fine needle.
  • Monitoring: After the injections are complete, your provider may monitor you briefly to ensure you feel well and address any immediate concerns.
  • Post-Treatment Instructions: Your provider will provide specific instructions on how to follow after trap Botox. This may include avoiding strenuous exercise or massaging the injection site for a certain period.
  • Results: While you may notice some improvement in your symptoms shortly after Trap Botox treatment, it can take several days to experience the full effects. Be patient and give your body time to respond to the injections.

Trap Botox Before and After

Before undergoing treatment, it’s natural to wonder what changes you might expect to see. The results can vary from person to person, depending on factors like the severity of muscle tightness and individual response to the treatment.

Before Botox, tightness in the trapezius muscle might cause neck and shoulder pain, stiffness, or limited mobility. However, many individuals report significant improvements in these symptoms after trap Botox. They may experience reduced pain, increased flexibility, and a greater range of motion in the shoulders and neck.*

*It’s important to note that the full effects of trap Botox may take several days to manifest. Additionally, results can vary from person to person, so it’s essential to have realistic expectations and follow your healthcare provider’s guidance throughout the treatment process.

What Are the Risks of Trap Botox?

While Botox is generally considered safe when performed by a qualified healthcare provider, it’s essential to be aware of potential risks and side effects. Some risks associated with trap Botox include:

  • Injection site reactions
  • Muscle weakness
  • Allergic reactions
  • Difficulty swallowing

Injection Site Reactions:

Mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site is common after Trap Botox treatment. These symptoms typically resolve on their own within a few days.

Muscle Weakness:

In some cases, Botox for the trapezius muscle can temporarily weaken or paralyze nearby muscles. This can affect mobility and may require adjustments to daily activities until the effects wear off.

Allergic Reactions:

While rare, some individuals may experience allergic reactions to Botox. Symptoms can include itching, rash, or difficulty breathing. If you experience any signs of an allergic reaction, seek medical attention immediately.

Rare Complications:

In rare cases, trap Botox can lead to more severe complications, such as difficulty swallowing or speaking, drooping eyelids, or muscle stiffness. These complications are uncommon but should be reported to your healthcare provider if they occur.

Botox For Trapezius Muscle: Cost

The cost of Botox for trapezius muscle can vary depending on factors such as the provider’s experience, geographic location, and the number of units of Botox required for treatment. It’s important to note that trap Botox is typically considered a cosmetic procedure and may not be covered by insurance.

Some individuals may qualify for coverage if Botox is used to treat a medical condition. When considering the cost, it’s essential to factor in the upfront price and potential long-term benefits.

Many individuals find the relief from trapezius muscle tightness and discomfort trap Botox provides well worth the investment. Before undergoing Botox treatment, discuss the cost and payment options with your healthcare provider.

CoolSculpting Thighs

Why CoolSculpting Thighs is Perfect for Upper, Lower, and Inner Thighs

CoolSculpting thighs is the best way to reduce stubborn fat bulges of the inner and outer thighs without surgery. The revolutionary fat reduction treatment uses precisely controlled cooling to freeze away tenacious fat cells. Read on to learn more about CoolSculpting and how you can reduce thigh fat and achieve slim, sexy legs.

What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive way to eliminate pesky fat in problem areas like the thighs. This treatment incorporates the advanced science known as Cryolipolysis, freezing fat cells until they are destroyed. Once the fat cells are damaged, they can no longer do their job of storing fat. When this occurs, the body naturally gathers the dead cells and expels them from the body as waste.

Benefits of CoolSculpting Thighs

  •  Reduce inner & outer thigh fat
  •  Easy, virtually painless treatments
  •  Get the popular “thigh gap”
  •  Tackle stubborn, diet and exercise resistant fat
  •  Long-lasting, natural-looking results
  •  FDA-cleared & scientifically proven
  •  Visible results with just one treatment
  •  Non-invasive, non-surgical
  •  Slim and tone sexy legs

How to Get Rid of Thigh Fat

For most women, the inner and outer thigh area is always plagued with stubborn fat bulges. Known as “sexy-specific-fat,” estrogen, a hormone, sends more fat to the thighs, butt, and pelvis. This extra fat storage is a supply of extra energy for women while breastfeeding.

Since thigh fat is typically hormone-induced, it is tough to get rid of diet and exercise alone. With CoolSculpting, you can have a quick, convenient procedure to eliminate thigh fat non-invasive and pain-free.

CoolSculpting on Thighs

CoolSculpting on thighs is a common CoolSculpting treatment area. Women can select to cold sculpt their outer thighs to reduce embarrassing saddlebags. The CoolSmooth applicator is explicitly made to treat the external thigh fat. It features a non-vacuum-based cooling allowing it to chill hard fat. Hard fat is unpinchable. A good example of hard fat is the saddlebags of the outer thighs. Clinical studies demonstrate the CoolSmooth applicator delivers “visible fat reduction after just one treatment.”

If you want the coveted “thigh gap” or sleek, sexy inner thighs, the CoolFit applicator can help. This applicator is made to treat inner thigh fat. It features a flat vacuum cup and large cooling plates. It can treat hard to reach areas like the inner thighs.

One CoolSculpting clinical study on inner thigh fat reduction shows that “84% of patients noticed visible fat reduction after just one treatment.” Moreover, “93% of patients were satisfied with their results.” Furthermore, “90% of patients would repeat the procedure.”

CoolSculpting Thighs Before and After*

CoolSculpting thighs before and after images show how women can freeze away stubborn fat in the inner and outer thighs. Patients saw a significant reduction of fat in their thighs. As with any body contouring treatment, results may vary.*

Is CoolSculpting Thighs Safe?

For anyone considering CoolSculpting thigh treatments, it is common to question if this body shaping treatment is safe. CoolSculpting is actually one of the most studied body contouring treatments to date. Fat freezing is scientifically proven and FDA-cleared. A study published in the Journal of Dermatological Surgery stated: “no significant side effects or adverse events were reported…with proper patient selection, Cryolipolysis is a safe, well-tolerated, and effective treatment method for reduction of subcutaneous fat.”

CoolSculpting Thighs Risks and Side Effects

A natural immune response will be activated after CoolSculpting thighs treatments. Fat cells will be gathered and processed out of the body as waste via the lymphatic system. This effect may lead patients to experience various side effects such as swelling, redness, tenderness, and bruising. These side effects are minimal and isolated to the target areas. They will likely dissipate on their own quickly.

Adverse reactions and serious risks are low for CoolSculpting thighs treatments. The most notable adverse reaction is paradoxical adipose hyperplasia which may occur at the treatment site. This reaction is serious and involves frozen fat cells growing larger. It is very rare and typically occurs in CoolSculpting treatments for men.

The best way to limit side effects and avoid serious risk in your CoolSculpting thigh treatments is to choose a skilled and reputable provider in your area.

Is CoolSculpting Thighs Right for Me?

Unfortunately, CoolSculpting treatments on the thighs are not suitable for everyone. CoolSculpting is not a weight-loss treatment and should never be used to treat obesity. The ideal CoolSculpting thighs candidate is a healthy, active adult struggling with resistant inner and outer thigh fat.

The best way to determine your treatment candidacy is to schedule a free, no-obligation consultation with KP Aesthetics. During your visit, our expert technicians evaluate your body and listen to your aesthetic body goals. If they determine this fat reduction treatment is right for you, they create a plan to fit your needs and budget while achieving optimal thigh fat reduction.

Your consultation is also an excellent chance to voice any questions or concerns. In addition, our staff can walk you through the fat freezing procedure and let you know what to expect.

CoolSculpting Thighs Cost

CoolSculpting cost varies per person. The price for fat-freezing treatments depends on the unique needs of each patient. Some factors that affect the treatment are the number of cooling sessions needed to achieve desired results, the size and shape of applicators, and the number of treatment areas selected. During your consultation, you talk in-depth about pricing with a staff member.

So, how many upper arm CoolSculpting sessions should you schedule? Let’s go through it.

How CoolSculping for Upper Arms Works

The upper arms are known for collecting stubborn fat bulges due to genetics, age, and even hormones. Due to the biology of fat deposits, upper arm fat is hard to reduce on your own. And DIY CoolSculpting is neither safe nor necessarily effective.

CoolSculpting arms is possible due to the advanced cooling science known as Cryolipolysis. Two Harvard scientists developed this science by observing a rare phenomenon in children who sucked on cold popsicles and developed dimples on their cheeks. With time and precision, the scientists created Cryolipolysis and the most popular non-invasive fat reduction method, CoolSculpting.

How Many CoolSculpting Upper Arm Treatments Are Necessary?

The idea with CoolSculpting sessions is that they are based on your individual goals. That means the number of treatments you need depends entirely on how much fat you want to remove. It’s important to remember that CoolSculpting is not meant to be a weight loss solution but to help contour and slim stubborn areas. See for yourself in these CoolSculpting before and after images!

Most patients need anywhere from one to three treatments to reach their goals. Mild-to-moderate amounts of fat can often be treated with one session. Greater amounts of fat or wanting to treat more than one area of the body require multiple appointments.

What to Expect with CoolSculpting Arms Treatments

During the CoolSculpting arms treatment, the upper arms are exposed to a calibrated cooling within the CoolPetite applicator. The temperatures will not freeze or damage the skin. However, it will freeze the fat cells below the skin’s surface, causing the fat cell’s membrane to rupture.

Once it ruptures, the cell can no longer store fat. Unable to do its job, the fat cell dies and processes out of the body through lymphatic drainage. CoolSculpting provides natural, long-lasting fat reduction because once the fat cells exit the body, they cannot regrow.

How the CoolSculpting Arm Applicator Reaches Difficult Spots

The CoolPetite is one of the latest CoolSculpting applicators in the CoolAdvantage collection. This line of tools helps reduce treatment time to 35 minutes, minimizes any treatment discomfort, and treats more problematic body areas, like the upper arms. The applicator follows the curve of the arm to target and treat unwanted fat accurately.

CoolPetite Professional Reviews

Mark Foley, President and Chief Executive Officer of ZELTIQ introduced the CoolPetite, saying, “After five years of research and millions of dollars invested in development, we are proud to be the only non-invasive fat reduction technology that is FDA-cleared to treat the upper arms, the third greatest area of concern for consumers.” Even celebrities love CoolSculpting!

Jean Carruthers, a principal investigator for the new line of applicators, also explains, “The upper arm, with its delicate structures, is one of the most challenging areas for fat reduction.” Carruthers, who was involved in the research, says he can personally “attest to the fact that the upper arms responded beautifully, and my study patients are delighted by their results.”

What is HALO Laser? How Laser Skin Resurfacing Works

What is HALO Laser? How Laser Skin Resurfacing Works

It’s really difficult to protect your skin from everything the world throws at it when you’re consistently exposed to harmful UV rays, blue light, and air pollution. These are daily occurrences, and with time, they take their toll on the skin. Eventually, you begin to notice dullness, stretch marks, and other skin concerns that become more challenging to address.

The HALO treatment is a hybrid fractional laser that treats an incredible amount of skin conditions. From sun damage to large pores to fine lines, wrinkles, and texture issues, HALO laser can handle it. It’s one of the most sought-after aesthetic treatments in the world!

Target the face, neck, décolletage, and the body for complete skin rejuvenation. Let’s go through how the system works and what you can expect from HALO skin treatment.

How & Why HALO Laser Treatment Works

Unlike other laser skin resurfacing solutions available, HALO is the very first hybrid fractional laser. It combines non-ablative and ablative wavelengths to vaporize damaged tissue. And while other lasers only treat about 5% of the skin, HALO treats between 25-30%. That means you get more dramatic results in less time.

Under the care of an experienced practitioner, HALO emits pulses of both wavelengths into the skin, triggering your body’s healing response. Not only does this work to eliminate tissue, but it promotes new tissue regeneration. The result is a fresher, more youthful appearance with healthier skin.

HALO Laser Before and After

Check out these HALO laser treatment before and after images to see the improvements that patients have been waiting for. These images are a great way to get a better idea of whether HALO is right for you.*

*Results may vary depending on your skin condition, goals, and the number of treatments you choose. Don’t hesitate to schedule a complimentary consultation to discuss your specific expectations!

Laser HALO Treatment Benefits

One reason that the HALO laser is so popular is that it’s effective for any skin type. Nearly anyone can improve the skin on their face, neck, and body. HALO laser is customizable for just about anywhere on the body, including the hands and legs.

As a complete skin revitalization laser treatment, HALO offers benefits such as:

  • Overall skin improvement

  • Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles

  • Smaller pore size

  • Better skin reflectivity

  • Healthier skin glow

  • Removal of discoloration

Most patients see incredible transformations in their skin with just one or two sessions. This is remarkable when you think about other laser treatments requiring as many as five or six sessions to achieve similar results. That’s the power of HALO’s hybrid technology.

What to Expect with Your HALO Treatment

Before your HALO appointment with KP Aesthetics, you’ll meet with a professional for a complimentary consultation. This is the process for many med spas, to give you the chance to sit down and talk through your expectations and goals. We are here to answer any questions, address any concerns, and create a plan together.

On the day of, your provider will give you a numbing cream to apply an hour before your appointment. This helps with any potential discomfort during the session.

Most patients who feel sensations during HALO laser treatment explain it as a quick zap of heat, but nothing painful. Each session takes anywhere from 30-60 minutes. There is little to downtime with HALO, so you can get back to your routine quickly.

Side Effects of HALO

It’s normal after your laser skin resurfacing treatment to experience redness and swelling. Some patients feel as though they spent a bit too much time in the sun. These symptoms will subside within a few days.

HALO Laser Treatment Aftercare

One of the most important things to remember after HALO laser is sunscreen. Of course, you should be wearing sunscreen every day. But no matter what, this is the time to protect your skin as it’s healing. Be sure to keep your skin moisturized – it will be nice and soothing along with helping to boost your results. The day after your treatment, you can wear makeup if you would like.

On days two to three, the skin will start to feel a bit like sandpaper. This is because your body is processing out microscopic epidermal necrotic debris (MENDS). Let the skin naturally exfoliate, using only gentle cleansers and moisturizers.

You might choose to have some social downtime as the treated skin sloughs off for healthy skin to replace it. This is something to keep in mind when planning for your session.

What Does HALO Laser Do to Your Face?

HALO skin treatments use heat and light energy to renew your skin. Motion-tracking technology helps ensure even and uniform treatment throughout the area of your choice. By vaporizing damaged tissue and stimulating new tissue growth, your face becomes brighter and your skin tighter.

While most laser solutions require many sessions to reach your goals, HALO provides visible results after one treatment. Depending on your goals and skin condition, your provider may recommend one treatment, or a series of sessions if you have more severe concerns to address.

How Long Do HALO Laser Results Last?

Your first visible improvements will show within 3 to 6 days. One of the best parts about HALO treatment is that your body continues to develop new collagen, so you will continue to see ongoing improvements with time.

You can expect even skin tone and texture after HALO treatment. The anti-aging results and improved light reflex are known as the ‘HALO glow’. They will last for years! To maintain the best HALO results, be sure you continue using UV sunscreen that protects your skin.

HALO and BBL

Many patients combine HALO and BBL (BroadBand Light) because it maximizes all the possible benefits. Each treatment addresses different concerns, and bringing them together offers dramatic improvements and immediate results.

BBL treats many indications, from vascular lesions to acne, skin texture, unwanted hair, and pigmented lesions. Its results are instant, and like HALO, comes with minimal downtime. BBL is best-in-class for its capabilities, manipulating the genes to more closely match those of young skin.

Masseter Botox: Immediate Relief for TMJ & Jaw Clenching

Masseter Botox: Immediate Relief for TMJ & Jaw Clenching

If you’ve been looking into masseter muscle Botox, you probably grind your teeth at night, when you’re concentrating, or when you feel anxious. You might suffer from regular headaches, which can derail both plans and sleep.

Maybe your face is also more boxy, squaring off on the lower jaw. These are all signs of a thicker masseter muscle. Many people try different migraine medications, mouth guards, and relaxation techniques to no avail. In fact, we hear horror stories about people swallowing OTC mouth guards in their sleep!

While Botox is mostly known for treating lines and wrinkles on the face, it’s capabilities extend quite a bit further. Masseter Botox is a treatment that targets the chewing muscle that causes so many issues for people.

A woman receiving a Botox on her jawline.

How Masseter Muscle Botox Works

The masseter muscle is a powerful one responsible for opening and closing the jaw. Connecting from your cheek down to the lower jaw and in use all the time, it makes sense that sometimes the muscle is doing more work than necessary. When the masseter muscle becomes enlarged, it can change the shape of your face, causing the lower half to fill out more.

For some people, one side of the face starts to look larger than the other. Masseter Botox works the same as your typical Botox muscle-freezing formula works: It limits activity in facial muscles that are overexerting.

When a skilled practitioner injects Botox in the jaw area, it temporarily blocks nerve signals to the muscle. This causes it to relax, and shrink with time, creating a V-shape that’s more feminine.

A photo of a woman lying while receiving a Masseter Botox injected by a male doctor.

Who is a Candidate for Masseter Botox?

Most people who want to adjust the shape of the lower half of their face or alleviate pain from jaw clenching can be considered for masseter Botox if they are in good health.

If you are a non-smoker looking to slim a square face, improve facial symmetry, or get rid of jaw discomfort, schedule a consultation. An experienced practitioner will be able to help you create a treatment plan completely customized to your needs. Plus, they will let you know if the treatment you’re interested in is not going to give you the results you want, and work with you to find the right solution.

Benefits of Botox into Masseter Muscles

Relieve stress and contour your face shape the way you want? Let’s talk about masseter Botox benefits.

Botox for Teeth Grinding

Teeth grinding is known as bruxism, and it’s a challenging problem that many deal with. Unfortunately, it can be a difficult thing to control, and for most, at-home solutions simply aren’t effective.

The issue with teeth grinding and clenching is that not only does it enlarge the masseter muscle with time, but it also causes physical discomfort like headaches and jaw pain. Many times, we do this unconsciously, making it harder to control.

Botox can help you manage the pain so that your jaw doesn’t constantly feel sore. Continued treatment can even help patients gradually lose the habit of grinding.

Botox for TMJ

Those who suffer from TMJ know that grinding your teeth comes with the territory. TMJ affects the jaw joint and surrounding facial muscles, causing chronic jaw pain. Botox can temporarily alleviate pain, popping, and swelling, limiting muscle function to ease jaw tension.

Botox for Headache Relief

Jaw Botox lets the muscle relax. When it’s not constantly working, the tension in the masseter muscle lessens. This leads to fewer headaches throughout the day so that you can go about your plans like normal.

Sleep Better with Jaw Botox

When you’re not constantly waking up from clenching your jaw and grinding your teeth, it’s amazing how much better you sleep. Botox injections in the jaw muscles provide therapeutic benefits, helping improve sleep quality for more restful sleep that restores your energy. You’ll wake up feeling ready to tackle the day.

Face Slimming Botox

When the jaw area is fuller, the face can appear more masculine. Not only does Botox in the jawline help control clenching, but it also softens the jawline. The result is a slimmer, more refined and feminine face shape from any angle.

Masseter Botox is an effective way to subtly contour the jawline. You’ll be left with a more aesthetically pleasing facial shape and a confidence boost.

Face slimming results after Botox typically start to show within 1-3 days. You can expect full results in about 1-2 weeks. Jaw Botox lasts anywhere from 4-6 months, but you can maintain results long term with routine visits to your favorite medical spa. Plus, many patients like to combine Botox with fillers to improve overall facial balance. One popular example is adding lip filler.

Masseter Botox Side Effects

There are a few temporary side effects that patients can experience with Botox, including bruising and swelling at the injection site. As the body adjusts, it’s normal for slight headaches, difficulty chewing and swallowing, although these symptoms disappear naturally.

In some cases, a crooked smile or uneven appearance can temporarily occur, which is why it’s so important to find a reputable, experienced Botox injector. To help avoid complications, we recommend the following after masseter Botox:

  • No bending or lying down for the first four hours
  • No rubbing or placing pressure on the injection site for 24 hours
  • No strenuous activity or exercise
  • No makeup application for the first four hours

These activities can promote swelling or bruising, and can also lead to Botox migration. It’s best to let the injectable settle for optimal results.

Masseter Botox Near Me: Philadelphia Jaw Botox

The team at KP Aesthetics is here to help you determine whether masseter Botox is right for you. We will discuss any potential risks, benefits, and expectations so that you can move forward confidently with your decision for Botox in Philly.

Vivace vs Morpheus8 RF Microneedling: Which is Better?

A woman showcasing her stunning visage

Vivace vs Morpheus8 RF Microneedling

Combining some of the smallest needles and radiofrequency technology brings RF Microneedling. It’s a minimally invasive solution to enhance skin tone and texture, but it doesn’t stop there. RF microneedling emits energy waves that reduce the early signs of aging, treat scars, and even help with excessive sweating.

Growing older might be an inescapable fact of life, but the physical side effects don’t need to be permanent. Whether you’re struggling with acne marks, texture inconsistencies, complexion issues, or other aspects of your appearance you’re unhappy with, you should consider Morpheus8 or Vivace microneedling.

With treatments you can customize, RF microneedling stimulates collagen production for gradual results and minimal downtime. Vivace and Morpheus8 are fractional therapies that revitalize the face and body for youthful radiance.

Which is Better, Morpheus8 or Vivace?

When it comes to choosing a treatment for yourself, one isn’t necessarily better than the other, as both eliminate visible skin imperfections and trigger the body’s natural repair response. But you might like the results better with one than the other, depending on your skin concerns and budget.

No matter which RF microneedling you decide on, your results start to show between one and three months after your initial treatment plan is complete. You can continue improving your skin by adding treatments as necessary.

The budget-friendly option is Vivace, although it is important to remember that its results are less dramatic than Morpheus8. If you have less severe signs of aging to address, then Vivace could be the perfect solution. However, if you’re looking for the premier treatment that offers dramatic results, you get what you pay for with Morpheus8.

Difference Between Microneedling and RF Microneedling

Traditional microneedling is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment. Microneedling involves a specialized device that rolls over the skin, creating controlled micro-injuries that stimulate the skin’s natural healing process.

Adding the radiofrequency element to traditional microneedling amplifies the production of proteins and enzymes that improve the skin, like collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. The RF energy also heats underlayers of the skin, further enhancing skin tightening results.

Some of the most popular problems that you can treat with RF microneedling include:

  • Dark spots
  • Stretch marks
  • Pitted scars
  • Ice pick scars
  • Under eye bags
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Forehead wrinkles
  • Large pores
  • Loose skin

No matter which microneedle RF treatment you choose, there is no downtime, and repeat sessions only enhance the quality of results. Plus, pairing treatments like Microneedling and Botox makes creating a comprehensive non-surgical facial rejuvenation plan easy.

Many patients choose to incorporate dermal fillers, Botox, or Kybella injections as complementary choices for their treatment plan (although they are not administered on the same day as each other for optimal healing).

Can RF Break Up Scar Tissue?

Yes, and RF microneedling treats scar tissue significantly better than traditional microneedling. For years, the micro-punctures that microneedling creates have been useful in breaking down scar tissue and promoting new collagen and elastin for smooth skin. Now, the RF addition has made this one of the most versatile, effective solutions available for scars.

Comparing Vivace and Morpheus8 RF Microneedling

Many anti-aging treatments on the market claim to rejuvenate, renew, and restore. While they might help, nothing is quite as effective at restoring a youthful appearance as microneedling with radiofrequency. The only issue is deciding which is best for you.

One of the main differences between the two is that Morpheus8 targets deeper layers of skin tissue to reverse more severe signs of aging. Vivace focuses on surface-level skin concerns. Let’s go through the benefits and longevity of each treatment to help you decide which is best for you.

Benefits of Vivace

As the newest generation of its kind, Vivace Microneedle RF is a popular solution for alleviating facial wrinkles and fine lines. Vivace is a fractional device that uses ultrasound to see the depth of the skin for treatment properly.

Some of the main reasons that patients choose Vivace include:

  • Shrinking large pores
  • Softening lines and wrinkles
  • Reducing active acne
  • Smoothing skin texture
  • Diminishing scarring
  • Minimizing stretch marks

Beyond the obvious benefits that Vivace brings, people love the treatment because it doesn’t stop at the combination of microneedling and RF energy. You have the option to add a triple-peptide glide serum and/or a cooling, soothing treatment mask to maximize the aftercare process.

Vivace Serums & Recovery Masks Enhance Healing

The Boost Serum contains naturally occurring amino acids Adiponin and Syndermin. These tripeptides are powerful enough to form the building blocks of healthy skin.

If you choose to add the Soothe mask to your Vivace treatment, you can add it to your regular skincare routine.

How Long Does Vivace Microneedling Last?

After the final treatment session, most patients see results for six months. You can prolong the improvements by scheduling follow-up sessions every four to six months. Remember to consistently apply sunscreen and use high-quality skincare products in between appointments (or after your last one).

Vivace Before and After*

Benefits of Morpheus8

If you see signs of aging around your facial features, Morpheus8 can make noticeable improvements. Targeting around the eyes, mouth, and forehead depending on need, Morpheus8 brings benefits such as:

  • Fading stretch marks
  • Minimizing acne scarring
  • Lifting and tightening loose skin
  • Correcting hyperpigmentation
  • Reducing fine lines and wrinkles
  • Increasing collagen production
  • Reversing sun damage

Visible results begin to show within the first month after treatment, taking between three to six months to finalize.

How Long Does Morpheus8 Last?

While Vivace results are more short-term, Morpheus8 improvements can be seen anywhere from 12 months to three years after treatment. Your overall results depend on your skin health and the steps you take to preserve the improvements.

Keep the area moisturized, but avoid heavy creams and abrasive products. Leave makeup off for 48 hours minimum after treatment. Of course, quality skincare products and regular sunscreen use are always important. And you can schedule maintenance appointments to extend your results as long as you like.

Semaglutide Injections vs Liraglutide

man holding semaglutide injections

Semaglutide Injections vs Liraglutide

Both Semaglutide and Liraglutide are known as GLP-1 receptors, which means they mimic a natural hormone in the body that signals insulin creation. This is what helps the body regulate blood sugar levels after eating. In higher doses, GLP-1 receptors work with the brain to adjust your appetite response, even slowing digestion down so you feel full for longer.

When patients combine a professionally supervised weight loss medication with the proper diet and an active lifestyle, consistent results are achievable. So, if you’re finding yourself in a cycle of weight fluctuations or increases you aren’t comfortable with, it’s time to make some changes. Let’s go through what you can expect with Semaglutide and Liraglutide – dosages, prescriptions, benefits, and side effects – so that you can make the best decision for your body.

Finding quality solutions in the abundance of options available might seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t need to be. You just need to find the right team and resources to support you. We’re here to help.

The Difference Between Semaglutide and Liraglutide

These medications are often discussed together as both Semaglutide and Liraglutide are effective solutions for obesity and type 2 diabetes. Because of this, either option is transformational in improving cardiovascular health and maintaining a safe weight.

But which one is for you?

Weight Loss Injection Dosages & Prescriptions

Two of the main differences between the medications are dosage amount and prescription. Keep in mind that with either option, patients slowly increase their dosage as the body adapts.

Liraglutide is primarily meant for adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 struggling with obesity. It helps alleviate the obesity epidemic with weight management before developing into adulthood. Dosages start at 0.6mg and go up to 3mg, with a half-life that lasts 13 to 15 hours between daily dosages.

Semaglutide is a weight-loss medication for adults, a weekly injection that lasts 165 hours. Dosages start at 0.25mg and max out at 2.5mg. Healthcare providers monitor progress, gradually increasing dosages once every four weeks for 17 weeks.

an image of Injections Liraglutide

Semaglutide vs. Liraglutide: Weight Loss Injection Results

In a study of nearly 2,000 obese individuals who did not have type 2 diabetes, half underwent weekly Semaglutide injections while the other half received a placebo. The Semaglutide group participants saw an average of 14.9% weight loss over 64 weeks. One-third of the group lost at least 20% of their baseline weight.

The same facility orchestrated another study involving over 3,700 participants who were also overweight or obese and did not have type 2 diabetes but with a Liraglutide prescription or placebo. 63.2% of Liraglutide participants lost more than 5% of their baseline weight, and about 33.1% saw more than 10% weight loss.

Liraglutide & Semaglutide Side Effects

As with any prescription, there are potential side effects to be aware of. These are both weight loss drugs meant to adapt how the body processes appetite, digestion, and blood sugar, which means your body needs to adjust to the medication.

Thankfully, most side effects patients experience on either Semaglutide or Liraglutide are minimal, manageable symptoms that disappear as treatment continues and diet improves. This might include nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, indigestion, fatigue, or stomach pain.

In rarer cases, more severe side effects can include a faster heartbeat, suicidal thoughts, or pancreatitis. Always address questions and concerns with your provider before, during, and after your treatment.

Which is Better for Weight Loss?

In comparing both weight loss drugs, a 2022 study between the maximum dosages of both Semaglutide and Liraglutide showed that Semaglutide is nearly three times as effective at supporting weight loss in those without diabetes.

Studies have shown that significantly more patients discontinue Liraglutide use for any reason than with Semaglutide. Plus, Semaglutide is more widely associated with curbing cravings, suggesting that the body regulates it more effectively.

Can You Switch From Liraglutide to Semaglutide for Weight Loss?

Yes! Depending on your needs and preferences, it is possible to change from one weight loss injection to another. As an important note, you should never combine these medications. Both options lower blood sugar and serve similar purposes, which means using them together can cause complications.

However, when it comes to determining which medication will be best for you, a 2-year study on patients with type 2 diabetes has shown that significant weight improvements are possible when switching from Liraglutide to Semaglutide.

This is interesting considering that Liraglutide is a daily dosage and Semaglutide only needs to be taken weekly – it can make the process easier when you only need to add one step into your weekly routine.

CoolSculpting vs. SculpSure: Is SculpSure More Effective than CoolSculpting?

The Difference Between CoolSculpting and SculpSure

Both treatments use a form of lipolysis technology but in very different ways. CoolSculpting freezes fat away using cooling technology known as cryolipolysis. This fat-freezing ability allows the device to target unwanted fat cells, freezing them until they no longer serve a purpose, and dissolve so the body’s lymphatic system drains the excess with time.

SculpSure, on the other hand, uses laser lipolysis (fat heating) technology to melt fat cells away. It’s among the many popular laser services that rejuvenate and empower patients to leave feeling more confident than when they came in. After all, body sculpting is meant to help you feel like your best self. It’s an empowering solution to concerns that are sometimes out of your control.

CoolSculpting Fat Freezing

There are two versions of CoolSculpting, the original legacy version, and CoolSculpting Elite. CoolSculpting Elite is more advanced, reducing more unwanted fat than its predecessor. The idea of freezing fat to death came back in the day when two Harvard scientists found a correlation between children eating ice cream and popsicles and losing cheek fat in the face. This discovery inspired the creation of CoolSculpting, where specialists place applicator pads on the treatment area to transmit cooling energy and destroy unwanted fat.

CoolSculpting Elite can target more areas than SculpSure can, including:

  • Under the chin (double chin)

  • Underarms (bat wings)

  • Bra and underbust rolls

  • Stomach (abdomen)

  • Side fat (love handles)

  • Below the buttocks (banana roll)

  • Inner thighs

  • Outer thighs

  • Ankles and calves

It takes about three months to see full results from CoolSculpting. Patients often choose to schedule multiple CoolSculpting sessions to get the most from treatment, as the fat reduction takes place gradually, and adding treatments maximizes results. You can see for yourself in these CoolSculpting before and after images.

CoolSculpting Treatment Times

Each CoolSculpting session typically takes between 25 minutes to an hour. With the original CoolSculpting machine, only one area could be treated at a time. Now that CoolSculpting Elite exists, its dual applicators can treat two areas within one session.

SculpSure Fat Melting

SculpSure is non-invasive like CoolSculpting, but by emitting pulses of laser heat energy below the skin with applicator pads. Using a balance of cooling plates to regulate the temperature, SculpSure liquifies fat cells for the body to process over the next few weeks.

While it doesn’t treat as many areas as CoolSculpting, SculpSure is highly effective on:

  • Stomach

  • Love handles

  • Back and bra fat

  • Inner thighs

  • Outer thighs

  • Submental fullness (double chin)

Most patients opt for two treatment rounds with SculpSure. Early results start to show around six weeks, while the full results show after about 12 weeks.

SculpSure Treatment Times

As a faster treatment than CoolSculpting, SculpSure is known as a “lunchtime lipo” solution. It takes about 25 minutes for a session, treating up to four areas in one sitting. No matter which body contouring option you choose, speaking with a knowledgeable professional during a personalized consultation will help you choose the perfect plan.

Candidates for CoolSculpting Vs. SculpSure

Neither of these options is meant for those who are obese. CoolSculpting and SculpSure work best on those who are already close to their goals but struggle with stubborn areas. Instead of replacing exercise and a nutritional diet, body sculpting treatments are meant to complement the journey. They help to target areas that are hard to sculpt on your own.

Both treatments are considered permanent solutions for unwanted fat loss. However, It’s important to remember weight loss and fat loss treatments are not the same. Not all fat cells in a treatment area are removed with fat loss solutions like CoolSculpting and SculpSure. There will still be surrounding fat cells, so you should maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. Gaining weight can enlarge the remaining cells, but you can help to balance everything with both lifestyle choices and maintenance treatments in the future.

Is SculpSure More Expensive Than CoolSculpting?

If you’re choosing between SculpSure and CoolSculpting, the cost won’t impact your decision much, as they are both similar. Depending on the size of the treatment area and how many areas you plan to sculpt, SculpSure and CoolSculpting price varies between two and upwards of six thousand dollars. Remember that cost is only part of the equation – you should find a provider that you trust, who has your best interests in mind and experience to support their expertise.
