Steve Costalas, DO, Medical Director
Steve has been a board-certified emergency physician for 18 years. His medical training was at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed in 1993. He was trained as an emergency physician at Christiana Care and graduated in 1997. Steve has been working for the Main Line Healthcare System since 1998 and has spent the majority of his career at The Lankenau Medical Center. Advances in medicine and cutting-edge treatments for patients have always been topics of interest in Steve’s practice. When approached about Medical Weight Loss, a transition into the world of Aesthetic Medicine became the next career move for Steve.
Kimberly Costalas, RN
After working in hospitals for over 6 years, Kim decided it was time to follow her passion for aesthetic medicine. She started seeing clients out of her home office in 2010 but quickly realized she would need a larger space. Much larger. Kim opened KP Aesthetics in 2015, and the rest is history. Kim is a top 1% injector, has seen thousands of patients, and has done countless aesthetic procedures. She is the boss of an ever-growing staff, NP student, mother of two humans and 1 Chihuahua, and wife of Dr. Steve Costalas. Kim’s philosophy on aesthetic medicine is a personalized approach yielding the most natural and beautiful results, and that is why she is so trusted, and her clients keep coming back for more!
Brianna Parnes, Manager
Lead Medical Aesthetician and Laser Specialist
After obtaining her license in Esthetics, Brianna worked at several laser spas before finding KP. She has worked at KP since the beginning, offering services to her clientele, and has grown along with the company. She is now working behind the scenes as our Manager, running the day-to-day operations. Brianna’s favorite service to have done at KP is Dysport! She has a daughter, Everly, with whom she spends all of her free time! She also does bridal makeup as a side gig!
Ali Schmidt, Social Media Coordinator
Ali is our Social Media Coordinator. She is responsible for recording, creating, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, analyzing insights, and handling all other social media-related tasks. She has been with us since April 2021 and graduated from West Chester University with a Marketing degree in 2020, focusing on the creative aspects of business. Her goal is to enhance brand awareness by highlighting the amazing work of her coworkers, who are contributing to the continuous growth and success of KP Aesthetics. Ali’s favorite KP services are Dysport, Hydrafacials, and Laser Hair Removal. Outside of work, Ali enjoys spending time with her French Bulldog, Otto, and her tortoise, Spikey.
Corinne Clements, RN
Corinne Clements is a nurse injector here at KP. Her nursing background is surgery-focused in first assisting plastic/ reconstructive surgical cases. Getting into the aesthetics industry was the perfect way for her to utilize her anatomy knowledge and finite skills from the OR in order to make people feel beautiful in their own skin through injectables. Her favorite treatment to do on others is lips! She loves to do pilates and hot yoga in her free time!
Haili Weney, BSN
Haili is a nurse injector here at KP Aesthetics. She started her nursing career 7 years ago with 6 years of experience in the Trauma ER. Haili has always had an eye for beauty and aesthetics, and transitioning into a nurse injector has always been a goal of hers. Her favorite treatment to do on her clients is full facial balancing. Haili has two giant breed dogs that she adores but has recently expanded her family with a new baby boy.
Shayna Travaglini, RN
Shayna is a nurse injector here at KP Aesthetics with over 16 years of nursing experience. Shayna made the exciting transition into the aesthetics industry last year, combining a passion for patient care with a love for beauty and wellness. Drawn to the confidence-boosting power of aesthetic treatments, Shayna is dedicated to helping clients achieve natural, refreshed results. Her favorite treatment to do on her clients is dermal filler. Shayna is currently enrolled in a Nurse Practitioner program at Villanova University, where she hopes to bring advanced patient assessment and diagnostic skills to the field of aesthetics. Outside of work and school, she spends time with her husband, twin children, and three dogs.
Melissa Gioia, LN
Melissa A. Gioia is a licensed nurse in Pennsylvania specializing in nonsurgical procedures and weight loss management. She is certified in laser hair removal, Coolsculpting, IPL, tattoo removal, and many other facial treatments. Since working at KP Aesthetics, Melissa has known her passion was helping clients look and feel their best! By doing so, she ensures her long-standing loyal clientele have access to the latest and most innovative treatments and products, making their experience truly exceptional.
Jackie Mraz, LME
Jackie is one of our Medical Aestheticians/Laser Techs. She has been in the industry for 30+ years, and skin is her passion. Jackie has been at KP since the beginning. She has furthered her education with Skinceuticals as a Professional Aesthetician and attends workshops and seminars regularly. Developing a specialized treatment plan for each client is her passion. Her favorite service is HALO with BBL. When not at work, Jackie loves to spend time at the gym and cooking with her family.
Alicia Leonardo, Certified Laser Tech
Alicia Leonardo started working at KP when she was done raising her 3 children. She decided to go to school for laser. She is certified in laser hair removal, tattoo removal, IPL, Halo, and certified in Coolsculpting. She has been with the KP family for 7 years and can say she STILL loves her job. Her favorite part of the job is seeing results. She loves making lasting relationships with her clients and achieving the results they are looking for, and she is here to listen to the client’s questions and concerns. She wants her clients to be satisfied and feel good about themselves!
Christie Girling, Reception
Christie is our Receptionist at our Injectors Lounge office here at KP Aesthetics! You will often find her lending a helping hand to our nurse injectors during treatments to make our clients’ experience more comfortable. Christie enjoys working out, spending time with loved ones, and being a dog mom to her 6-year-old pitbull, Milo.
Melissa Shelly, Reception
Melissa Shelly is one of the faces you see at the front desk at KP Aesthetics. She has been married for 29 years and is the proud mom of three grown children. Marple Newtown has been her home for 22 years, and she has loved raising her kids here. Her favorite hobbies are reading, shopping, going to the beach, and walking her 3 dogs. She is one of the more mature ladies at KP and tries to look her best by using great skin care products and nonsurgical procedures like Botox, which is one of the reasons she loves working here!!
